2d, but 3d?

my talented and hard-working sister is finishing a master's program at rit in rochester, ny. she recently sent me some very very cool screencaps of a personal exercise she was doing to improve her 3d skills.

some of you might remember this painting i did as part of my graduation show:



well, she did a remix of sorts and put it in a real world:






what i love about these is that you really can play a lot with composition and perspective. all she needs is some texture (and a tail for the elephant), then ray caesar.. watch out.

i really enjoyed to convert tessar's painting into 3D..it was really challenged. i will re-do this project in the future.
