crossing bridges.

here's a piece i have at m modern, las vegas this coming week.

changing, 21 x 29", mixed media on paper.

i have been drawing a lot of buried tigers lately. i find a weird association with the quieted beasts. as great, mysterious and moving as they can be, being buried, they are humbled and exposed- forced to submissively observe the great world they are a part of. it's a lot like how i am feeling these days.

Beautiful as always, Tessar.
I don't know what it is, but you've tapped into something that resonates beautifully with a wide audience. Rare gift, I'm telling you.

Why haven't we talked recently?
