if the buyer of the lapinlapin painting that just sold would like to make contact with me, i would like to personally thank them. for some reason, i cannot get your contact. thanks, i'm looking forward to it.

somehow, i neglected to say thank you to those that came to the happily never after show this last wednesday. it was so nice to see everybody; i was so pleasantly surprised to see so many people on a wednesday night.
all the excitement and my being able to sell my large painting appeased my fears of a slower, more timid art market in toronto. in fact, a lot happened that night that gives me a lot of hope for us typically meek canadians.

in any case, better late than never: thank you. hopefully i will get to see some of you guys more sooner than later.

oh yah, there's a flickr set too.. not much, but still.

last week i got a chance to catch up with two really good people and shoot the breeze. recent grad, juan solon and fellow sheridan alumn, mark cabuena and i ended up finding a nice little spot to have crappy coffee and have a no pressure drawing jam. it ended up being a lot of fun as there was no planning or so-called "mistakes" allowed. we just jammed for an hour or so and here they are, in all their glory:








when i scanned them all in, i decided to play around with them all on ps and here is what i got:
